1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Timely Pill mobile application ("App"), a product of FusionO Labs Inc. ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Local Data Storage

Timely Pill operates on a local-first architecture. This means:

  • Medication Information: All details about your medications, dosages, schedules, and reminders are stored locally on your device.
  • Health Data: Any health-related information you enter into the App stays exclusively on your device.
  • App Settings: Your preferences, including theme selection, language, and text size settings, are stored locally.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not sync your data to any cloud servers or remote storage.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

We never collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Health information you enter, including medicine names, dosages, and notes
  • Location data
  • Contacts or photos

2.3 Usage Analytics and Diagnostics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous analytics and diagnostics that help us improve the App:

  • Usage data: screens viewed, features used, and reminder activity such as whether a dose was marked taken, skipped, or snoozed
  • App settings: theme, language, and text size
  • Technical data: device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Diagnostic data: error reports when something goes wrong in the App, including the error type, the location in our code, and a stack trace

This data is not linked to your identity and is processed in the European Union. See PostHog's privacy policy.

3. How We Use Information

Your medication data stays on your device, so we have no access to it and cannot use it. The App uses your locally stored data solely to:

  • Display your medication schedule and reminders
  • Send local notifications for medication times
  • Provide the features and functionality of the App
  • Save your preferences and settings

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your medication or health data with anyone. Your medication information remains on your device.

The anonymous usage analytics described in section 2.3 are shared with PostHog, our analytics provider, to measure, diagnose, and improve the App. We do not sell your data, and we will never share your medicine names or health information with anyone. Any change to these practices will be disclosed in an updated Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

The App uses a local-first architecture with the following characteristics:

  • Local Storage: Your data is stored on your device and does not leave your device for cloud storage.
  • Device Protection: Your data benefits from your device's built-in security features (device passcode, biometric authentication, etc.).
  • No Accounts: We don't require account creation.
  • Limited Network Transmission: Your medication and health data is not transmitted over the internet.

You are responsible for securing your device and maintaining appropriate device-level security measures.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Your medication data is stored locally on your device, so you have complete control over it:

  • Data Access: All your data is accessible directly within the App.
  • Data Deletion: You can delete any medication, reminder, or information at any time within the App.
  • Complete Removal: Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all data from your device.
  • Data Export: Currently, the App does not support data export, but this feature may be added in future updates.
  • Usage Analytics: The anonymous analytics described in section 2.3 are not linked to your identity. To request information about them, contact us using the details in section 13.

7. Children's Privacy

Timely Pill is designed for general audiences and can be used by individuals of all ages. However, we recommend that children under 13 use the App under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App collects no personal identifiers from users of any age.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service: PostHog, for the anonymous usage analytics and diagnostics described in section 2.3. Data is processed in the European Union. You can read their privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

Your medication data is not part of this. It is stored only on your device and is never sent to PostHog or to us.

9. International Users

Timely Pill can be used anywhere in the world. Your medication data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted. The anonymous usage analytics and diagnostics described in section 2.3 are processed on servers in the European Union.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Significant changes will be communicated through the App or our website
  • Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not collect personal identifiers, and we do not sell or share personal information. The only information we collect is the anonymous usage analytics described in section 2.3, which is not linked to your identity. If you have questions about your rights, contact us using the details in section 13.

12. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your medication and health data never leaves your device, so it is never processed by us. The anonymous usage analytics and diagnostics described in section 2.3 are processed within the EU on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding, maintaining, and improving the App, and are not linked to your identity. 14. Data Retention

Your medication data is retained on your device for as long as you have the App installed. You can delete individual items at any time, or uninstall the App to remove all of it permanently. We hold no copy of your medication data. Anonymous usage analytics are retained by our analytics provider under their standard retention schedule.
